Kodiak VCI software is the platform to build virtual clusters for Big Data applications.
Virtual Cluster Infrastructure (VCI) is the next phase of the virtualization revolution. VSI provided virtual servers. VDI provided virtual desktops, VCI provides virtual clusters for data processing. No application software or configuration changes are needed to use virtual clusters. Virtualization of whole clusters, including compute, disks and network, provides significant advantages to Enterprise IT.
Kodiak VCI software is available for rack-scale deployments on industry-standard Linux servers. The software pools all the assets of the underlying infrastructure and then provides simple APIs to create and manage virtual clusters in the form of DataContainers.
Kodiak VCI appliances provide turnkey infrastructure for applications with memory-speed performance requirements. The appliances provide pools of NVMe flash and RAM for use by one or more application clusters.
